@ mark down /mɑːk daʊn/
     to reduce the price of something, usually in order to encourage people to buy it (giảm giá sản phẩm)
     Low consumer demand has forced us to mark down a wide range of goods.
     In August they begin to mark down sumer suits.

@ shop around /ʃɒp əˈraʊnd/
     to compare the price and quality of the same or a similar object in different shops before you decide which one to buy (so sánh giá và chất lượng thứ gì ở các cửa hàng khác nhau trước khi mua)
     When you're buying a flight, you should always shop around for the best deal.
     You can get good rates if you shop around on the internet.

@ stock up /stɒk ʌp/
     to buy a large quantity of something (mua gì với số lượng lớn)
     During the covid-19 pandamic, people stocked up on essential items.
     Before the storm arrived,  Jamaicans rushed to stock up on bottled water.

@ sell off /sel ɒf/
     to charge a low price for something to encourage people to buy it (bán giá rẻ để tăng sức mua)
     Many brands sell off their products when holidays come.
     They're selling off last year's stock at half price.

@ sell out /sel aʊt/
     to sell all of the supply that you have of something (bán hết hàng sẵn có)
     We sold out of the shoes in the first couple of hours.
     The tickets for the BTS music show were sold out in a couple of hours.

@ pick out /pɪk aʊt/
     to recognize, find or to make a choice among different people or things in a group (chọn lựa)
     She picked out a pink shirt for me to try on.
     From all the puppies, we picked out the smallest one to take home.

@ try on /traɪ ɒn/
     to put on a piece of clothing to discover if it fits you or if you like it (thử đồ)
     I tried on six pairs of trousers before I found a pair  that fitted.
     She likes trying on her Mum's clothes.
