@ examine /ɪɡˈzæm.ɪn/
     Meaning: to look at or consider a person or thing carefully and in detail in order to discover something about them (khảo sát, nghiên cứu).
     Example: Don't sign any contract before examining its conditions carefully.

@ exist  /ɪɡˈzɪst/
     Meaning: to be, or to be real (tồn tại).
     Example: It's in the poorer, underdeveloped eastern region of the country that the biggest problems exist.

@ expand /ɪkˈspænd/
     Meaning: to increase in size, number, or importance, or to make something increase in this way (mở rộng, trải ra).
     Example: In their efforts to reduce crime, the government expanded the police force.

@ expect /ɪkˈspekt/
     Meaning: to think or believe something will happen, or someone will arrive (mong đợi).
     Example: I'd expected to put weight on when I gave up smoking, but I didn't.

@ experiment /ɪkˈsper.ə.ment/
     Meaning: to try something in order to discover what it is like or find out more about it (thí nghiệm).
     Example: I'd be very nervous about letting a trainee hairdresser experiment with my hair.

     Meaning: to make something clear or easy to understand by describing or giving information about it (giải thích).
     Example: Any decent teacher should be able to explain the difference between transitive and intransitive verbs.

     Meaning: to search a place and discover things about it (thăm dò, thám hiểm).
     Example: She saw the isolation tanks as a means to explore the nature of human conscioussness.

     Meaning: to show a feeling, opinion, or fact (biểu lộ, bày tỏ).
     Example: Many politicians and members of the public expressed outrage at the verdict.

@ extend /ɪkˈstend/
     Meaning: to add to something in order to make it bigger or longer (mở rộng, kéo dài).
     Example: They planned to extend the car park, freeing existing paking spaces for visitors.
