     Meaning: to examine or look for the difference between two or more things (so sánh).
     Example: The judges compared all the cakes in the cake competition for taste, texture, colour and general appearance.

@ compete /kəmˈpiːt/
     Meaning: to try to be more successful than someone or something else (cạnh tranh).
     Example: For the magazine to be successful, it will have to compete in the big league against leading weekly women's magazines.

@ complain /kəmˈpleɪn/
     Meaning: to say that something is wrong or not satisfactory (phàn nàn).
     Example: Teachers complain that more of their time is taken up with administration than with teaching.

@ complete /kəmˈpliːt/
     Meaning: to finish doing something (hoàn thành).
     Example: I have a lot of reading assignments to complete before the end of term.

@ concern /kənˈsɝːn/
     Meaning: to cause worry to someone (làm ai băn khoăn).
     Example: Does it concern you that your children are out after dark?

@ confirm /kənˈfɝːm/
     Meaning: to make an arrangement or meeting certain, often by phone or writing (xác nhận).
     Example: We'll pencil in the dates for the next two meetings and confirm them later.

@ consent /kənˈsent/
     Meaning: to agree to do something, or to allow someone to do something (đồng ý).
     Example: The director consented to change the ending of the movie.

@ consider  /kənˈsɪd.ɚ/
     Meaning: to spend time thinking about a possibility or making a decision (xem xét).
     Example: I considered applying to university, but I eventually decided to go to the local poly.
