     Meaning: to agree to take something (nhận, chấp nhận)
     Example: I accept full responsibility for the failure of the plan.

@ accuse /ə'kju:z/
     Meaning: to say that someone has done something morally wrong, illegal, or unkind (buộc tội)
     Example: He is accused of misleading investors and lenders about the financial health of the company.

@ achieve /ə'tʃi:v/
     Meaning: to succeed in finishing something or reaching an aim, especially after a lot of work or effort (đạt được)
     Example: We've achieved some marvellous results with this new drug.

@ acknowledge /ək'nɔlidʤ/
     Meaning: to accept, admit, or recognize something, or the truth or existence of something (công nhận)
     Example: Historians generally acknowledge her as a genius in her field.

@ acquire /ə'kwaiə/
     Meaning: to get or obtain something (giành được)
     Example: From humble beginnings he went on to acquire great wealth.

@ adapt /ə'dæpt/
     Meaning: to change something, to suit different conditions or uses (lắp vào, thích nghi)
     Example: The good thing about children is that they adapt very easily to new environments.

@ add /æd/
     Meaning: to put something with something else to increase the number or amount or to improve the whole (thêm vào)
     Example: Beat the butter and sugar together and slowly add the eggs.

@ adjust /ə'dʤʌst/
     Meaning:to change something slightly, especially to make it more correct, effective or suitable (điều chỉnh)
     Example: As a teacher you have to adjust your methods to suit the needs of slower children.
