@ approach /ə'proutʃ/
     Meaning: to come near or nearer to something or someone in space, time, quality or amount (đến gần)
     Example: If you look out of the window on the left, you'll see that we're now approaching the White House.

@ approve /ə'pru:v/
     Meaning: to accept, allow, or officially agree to something (đồng ý)
     Example: I must tell you in all honesty that there is little chance of the scheme being approved.

@ argue /'ɑ:gju:/
     Meaning: to speak angrily to someone, telling that person that you disagree with them (tranh cãi)
     Example: They used to argue all the time and now they've practically stopped talking to each other.

@ arise /ə'raiz/
     Meaning: to start to happen or exist (xuất hiện, xảy ra)
     Example: If a conflict arose between his faith and his constitutional duty, he should resign.

@ arrange /ə'reindʤ/
     Meaning: to plan, prepare for, or organize something (sắp xếp)
     Example: I'm trying to arrange my work so that I can have a couple of days off next week.

@ arrive /ə'raiv/
     Meaning: to reach a place, especially at the end of a journey (đến, tới nơi)
     Example: He's not a very organized person and he always arrives late at meetings.

@ articulate /ɑ:'tikjulit/
     Meaning: to express in words (nói lên)
     Example: Many people are opposed to the new law, but have had no opportunity to articulate their opposition.

@ ask /ɑ:sk/
     Meaning: to put a question to someone, or to request an answer from someone (hỏi)
     Example: I asked him what time the museum opened, but he didn't know.
