     Meaning: to cause something to grow or change into a more advanced, larger, or stronger form (phát triển).
     Example: I'm looking for a job which will enable me to develop my skills.

@ differ  /ˈdɪf.ɚ/
     Meaning: to be not like something or someone else, either physically or in another way (khác với).
     Example: Eye-witness accounts of the fighting differ markedly from police reports of what happened.

@ dig /dɪɡ/
     Meaning: to break up, move, or remove earth, sand, or another material using a tool or one's hands (đào).
     Example: The dog likes to dig holes in the backyard when he's bored or looking for something  to play with.

@ disagree  /ˌdɪs.əˈɡriː/
     Meaning: to not have the same opinion, idea, et cetera (không đồng ý).
     Example: I sympathize with the general aims of the party, but on this particular issue I'm afraid I disagree.

@ discover /dɪˈskʌv.ɚ/
     Meaning: to find information, a place, or an object, especially for the first time (khám phá).
     Example: We searched all morning for the missing papers and finally discovered them in a drawer.

     Meaning: to talk about a subject with someone and tell each other your ideas or opinions (thảo luận).
     Example: Stop shouting and let's discuss this reasonably.

@ dislike /dɪˈslaɪk/
     Meaning: to not like someone or something (không thích).
     Example: I have always disliked that feeling of fullness after a large meal.

@ distribute /dɪˈstrɪb.juːt/
     Meaning: to give something out to several people, or to spread or supply something (phân phát, phân phối).
     Example: Tons of internationally donated food was distributed to the starving peasants.

@ dive /daɪv/
     Meaning: to jump into water, especially with your head and arms going in first, or to move down under the water (lặn).
     Example: The swimmer had to dive into the pool and swim as fast as possible to win the race.
