@ gallop /ˈɡæl.əp/
     Meaning: (of a house) to run fast so that all four feet come off the ground together in each act of forward movement, or (of a person) to ride a horse that is running in this way (phi nước đại).
     Example: We galloped through the woods.

@ gather /ˈɡæð.ɚ/
     Meaning: to collect several things, often from different places or people (tập hợp).
     Example: She gathered up the newspapers that were scattered around the floor.

@ glance /ɡlæns/
     Meaning: to give a quick short look (liếc nhìn).
     Example: She glanced nervously over her shoulder to make sure no one else was listening.

@ glide /ɡlaɪd/
     Meaning: to move easily without stopping and without effort or noise (trượt đi, lướt đi).
     Example: She came gliding gracefully into the ballroom in a long, flowing gown.

@ go /ɡoʊ/
     Meaning: to travel or move to another place (đi đến).
     Example: I was thinking we might go on a shopping trip on Saturday.

@ grasp /ɡræsp/
     Meaning: to quickly take something in your hands and hold it firmly (nắm chặt, ôm chặt).
     Example: The eagle swooped down and grasped the rabbit in its sharp talons.

@ greet /ɡriːt/
     Meaning: to welcome someone with particular words or a particular action, or to react to something in the stated way (chào đón).
     Example: The new president was greeted by an ecstatic crowd.

@ grow /ɡroʊ/
     Meaning: to increase in size or amount, or to become more advanced or developed (phát triển).
     Example: The thickness of the mulch will prevent weeds growing around the shrubs.
