     Meaning: to cause to stop moving or doing something or happening (dừng lại).
     Example: The ever-increasing demand for private cars could be halted by more investment in public transport.

@ hang /hæŋ/
     Meaning: to fasten or support something at the top leaving the other parts free to move, or to be held in this way (treo, mắc).
     Example: We could hang this picture on the wall next to the window.

@ happen  /ˈhæp.ən/
     Meaning: (of a situation or an event) to have existence or come into existence (xảy ra).
     Example: The police showed him a photo to try to jog his memory about what had happened on the night of the robbery.

@ hate /heɪt/
     Meaning: to dislike someone or something very much (ghét).
     Example: I remember how much I hated doing sums when I was at school.

@ haul /hɑːl/
     Meaning: to pull something heavy slowly and with difficulty (kéo mạnh).
     Example: The fishermen were hauling the nets in at the back of the boat.

@ have  /hæv/
     Meaning: to own (có).
     Example: Now that we have cable, we get a wonderfully crisp picture, even on our old television.

@ hear  /hɪr/
     Meaning: to receive or become conscious of a sound using your ears (nghe).
     Example: My grandfather is getting old and can't hear very well.

@ hesitate /ˈhez.ə.teɪt/
     Meaning: to pause before you do or say something, often because you are uncertain or nervous about it (do dự, ngập ngừng).
     Example: He hesitated before opening the door and walking into the room.
